Fascinated by the Dogme 95 movement, and it’s “Vow of Chastity”, in 2018 Andrew set out to experiment with these rules. Using the characters of Conor and Julian, previously seen in Andrew Jamieson’s Who’s Afraid, he wrote and filmed a scene with which he attempted to achieve the “purity” sought by filmmakers like Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, and often Harmony Korine.
This scene, an excerpt from a piece with the working title Weapons, came to be the anchor for Andrew Jamieson’s Bed of Nails.

**HIM is a performance ritual, the portrayal of two iconic roles in a story yet to be told. Peggy Hogan (Hua Li 化力) is Yitzhak and Andrew Jamieson is Hedwig.
Hedwig in Montreal was performed August 22nd, 2014 at the Wiggle Room in Montreal, Quebec.
